Additional Comments
Common Cause members and the public are interested to know where you stand on additional democracy ideas that some candidates have proposed, like reforming the Supreme Court, lowering the voting age, or expanding voting rights to non-citizens. What do you think about these reforms? And are there any other ways you want to make our democracy more representative, reflective, accessible, or accountable?
Response
While I am open to certain ideas related to reforming the Supreme Court, I do not support "packing" the court. I also do not support lowering the voting age, though I have not entirely ruled out supporting it in the future. I do not believe non-citizens should have the right to vote. I have offered a range of policy ideas on Government and Electoral Reform as part of my Plan for America on JoeSestak.com.
