My first time testifying in the Georgia General Assembly was in 2009, after having been recruited by the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund to testify on my experience being wrongfully flagged in 2008 as a non-citizen voter. Since then, I have in court challenged voter proof of citizenship (as a party, recruited then by the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund) and electronic voting machines (as an attorney with Holcomb + Ward, LLP), as well as helped Democrats in elections challenged (Rep. Josh McLaurin, Sen. Steve Henson, also with Holcomb + Ward, LLP). I have also testified, while Legislative Counsel with the ACLU of Georgia, in support of expanded early voting. Naturally, I'm all about elections integrity and against voter suppression, particularly of minority voters. And during the course of my campaign, I have provided resources to HD 99ers for everything from language assistance, to information on vote-by-mail, to the Census - as well as, in the June 9 primaries, mailed out thousands of my own (bilingual in English and Spanish, unlike the state's) absentee ballot request forms.

Tell Marvin Lim thank you.
