As a County of Hawaii long-range planner, I have worked with agencies and within communities to build relationships and trust and help create strategic plans that focus on solutions. I have been able to learn about the challenges facing our families and about the valuable assets that can be bolstered as economic drivers to help our communities thrive. I feel a responsibility to use my unique skills and experience as a collaborator and a problem solver to serve the public as a county council member. My ability to understand the issues and work collaboratively toward solutions will allow me to make important legislative decisions and budget decisions needed to implement long-range plans that have been adopted by our county.
