The words of Martin Luther King have inspired me to run for office. He once said that, ""any one can serve, you only need a heart full of grace and a soul generated by love"". In my humble opinion the economy, education, energy and the environment are four of the most challenging issues facing Hawaii.

To that resolve, we need to revitalize our economy and invigorate it with new industry. We need to embrace our educational system enamored with the tools that align itself with business and technological innovation so that we may endow the next generation of young with security and prosperity. We need to expedite the exploration of alternative energy sources. We need to expand, enhance and ensure the protection of our environment that we have been entrusted with so that we may fulfill our motto,""
