Response

Has anyone asked if the Post office will be counting the mail in ballots so when they come to

State Election offices, there will be a check and balance on how many ballots come into the

office for an area.

Being Mayor of Hawaii Island, I would eliminate preferential treatment with trainings and

evaluations for the staff. The County Government leaders need to become inclusive in their

relations with the public. In other words, Public Servants would ""Dare to Care and

demonstrate this and be evaluated on their ability to do so.

The public does not feel this any more than I have as a volunteer member on the Puna CDP

Action Committee. The public pays the taxes which pays the salaries of County Government,

yet I do not see the People being served! We used to meet once a month, then it went to

Bimonthly, now we are not meeting at all! Is that democracy? I should say not!
